Write Up:
The forecast was sunny. Then it was rainy. But like all Calgarians know, both forecasts could be true - as it turned out sunny in the morning with showers in the afternoon. But what would the evening skies be like? A few were afraid of the answer so kindly declined our company. However, seven diehard fans came out and one even brought a friend!

What's nice about opening night is that they give out prizes! If you knew your quotes from Shakespeare and/or Flames trivia (as they are a sponsor), you could have left with souvenir clothing, a basket of food, or Flames tickets. Unfortunately our group was too shy to holler out the answer to claim a prize.

The play had something for everyone: some singing, electric guitar, breakdancing, hip hop music, romance, betrayal, murder, revenge, sword fights, and a ghost. (Sorry, no togas.) So it came as no surprise when no one left when it started to rain in the last 10 minutes. The crowd stayed as lightning flashed above, adding some extra intensity to the climax. (But I was secure in knowing that everyone had signed their waiver.)
