Write Up:Seven of us tackled Nose Hill Saturday morning, and were rewarded with a good urban hike. Initially we went down into the valley near the trees, but the mosquitoes were a little too numerous so we decided to stay on more established trails. We included two good climbs so that we had a cardio workout. For those who love flowers, they were amply rewarded - we even spotted some incredible miniature roses - very similar to tea roses as opposed to the more abundant Alberta wild roses.
After the hike, we went to Friends for coffee and lunch. All in all a fun outing; thanks to all who participated.
