Brrrrr! Had it not been for the wind, it would have been a fantastic winter day to be outside. On the plus side, there were no crowds ... anywhere :)

The trek to Lake Louise to see the ice sculptures is an annual must do. It would be so great if Banff N.P. valued us day-trippers from Calgary more and provided a warming hut similar to Pocaterra for lunch and, well, warming up.
