Write Up:The great thing about checking out Lori Beattie's hikes is not only exploring new (and old favorite) parks and pathways around Calgary, but she also challenges our map-reading and route-finding skills. So... that said, NEXT time (there is always a next time - right?) we will start from the other direction and see if we can navigate our way through the last part of the trail that we missed completely this time. I supposed we could blame the snow that covered what must be a trail there somewhere. There is still a LOT of snow covering shaded areas and hills making for slippery conditions at times.
