Write Up:Fantastic - the rain held off so that we were able to complete the morning hike without getting wet. Six of us started out from Bowmont, and headed to Baker Park. We kept up a fairly good pace (not an Ed pace, but a good workout pace nonetheless). We saw several horses at the field near the Stoney Trail Bridge. They were beautiful - some running in the field. They belong to a Shriners group. In Bowness Park, we saw some Canada geese - and several goslings. You can tell they are used to people. Sam met up with us near the lagoon, where we stopped for a snack and coffee. We were back at the cars close to 11:30 am. Thanks to all for coming out - and welcome Mark & Melissa to COC. It was a great morning.
