Write Up:Great weather! Great scenery! Great participants! Some mountian goats and a whippet- it doesn’t get much better than that. The only thing missing was Marg M’s charming presence. The few muddy parts of the trail were more than compensated for by the beautiful views up and down the lake. We met up with 3 other COC regulars, who were camping along the lakeshore, for a lunch break. Despite the fact that one of them was Glenn Davis, we still had a wonderful visit. Dana, with Joey at her side, was the rose between 2 gnarly old thorns and added a little class to the otherwise motley threesome. According to ‘Legendary Ed’s’ G.P.S. we hiked 20kms today. I’m also happy to report that even though this was my first time coordinating the trip solo, I managed to bring back 100% of the participants!!!
