Write Up:We started out with such high hopes for good weather.
The trail was great, fairly moderate except for that one steep section, up to Lillian Lake. With a few drops of rain and a bit of hail urging us on, most of the group decided to carry on to Galatea Lakes. A quick lunch and some interesting conversations later, we headed back down the trail, as the rain started in earnest.
Unfortunately, it did not let up and a very wet group of hikers made their way back to the parking lot.
Thanks to everyone for their great spirit despite the rain.
