Write Up:
Today was the warmest day I've ever experienced while snowshoeing Ptarmigan Cirque .... and also the least amount of snow I've ever seen up there at this time of year. Not sure what to make of that. A really fun day tho, glad to not have the wind blowing like the hurricane it usually is. We lingered longer at the cirque for lunch than usual, soaking up sunshine and warm temps. I had a really fun time today - thanks everyone for coming out to celebrate the last day before winter gate closure.
