We had great weather and some awesome rides in Fernie. Although we ran into snow on the higher elevations we still found lots to ride.
: Roots to Hyperventilation to Castle Rock was a new ride for us. We left out bikes at the Junction to South Castle and hiked about 15 minutes to the top of Castle rock. Great views looking across to the ski area. South Castle was also a new ride. Very steep and straight down from top which seemed a bit of a waste of real estate to us but I guess the downhillers like it. Eventually as we got lower we hit the single track but missed the bottom section.
: We rode up Stove (too muddy) up Mushroom Head and then attempted Lactic Ridge but ran into too much snow so we turned around. The ride down Mushroom Head, Hedonism and lower Hedonism were in great shape.
: We sussed out some new rides from the bike shop boys so are very keen to be going back in July. Hope to see you there.
