An adventurous, rewarding dayhike. After the first hour, you'll be mostly above the treeline with the surrounding mountains in view. The view from the pass is outstanding.

Please be warned that your event coordinator has not done this hike before but wants to check it out, so if you can please allow time/patience for unforseen circumstances. Thanks.

PACE:Please note that this is not a speed demon's hike(getting to the top in record time) nor is it for very slowpokes, we will be hiking at a casual pace. If you're not sure about a hike, please always feel free to contact the coordinator and remember to always hike within your ability in order to be able to keep up with the group. If you have not hiked Before or Recently hiked with 500M+ OR you are switching from URBAN HIKES to mountain hikes, it is highly recommended that you start with lower elevations and build up from there. If you're use to "Slowpoke Pace Hikes" then this hike is not for you-the pace will be too quickNO beginners please.
