Itinerary:

WEATHER & WATER CONDITIONS PERMITTING.

Spend a lovely day on the water exploring Barrier Lake. Spectacular mountain views, if we're lucky might get to see some wildlife. Great way to spend a day out in the countryside.

We'd be spending 2.5 hours on the lake and then have a potluck picnic lunch by the lakeshore. Bring food for yourself and food you'd like to share. NO JEANS TO BE WORN and no cotton clothing. Bring spare change of clothes.
- Totals allowed on this event may change in accordance with the availability of boats.

Note:
- I will need 15 paid registrations to make this work
- Payment is due immediately upon registration. Choose from Email Transfer, Cheque or Paypal payment methods (see below)
- Should payment not be received within a week of registration you may be moved off the event and others on the waitlist moved in your place.
- If you are paying by cheque, drop me an email so I’m aware that it is in the mail otherwise I might bump you off. The cheque will have to reach me within a week of your registration otherwise your spot will be given up.
- Refunds are not possible after the cut off date if a suitable replacement for you cannot be found.

PAYMENT NOTE & INSTRUCTIONS:
Payment is due immediately upon registration. Should payment information not be received within 5 days of registration you will be moved off the event and onto the waitlist. There will be no refunds after the cut off date unless a replacement can be found. The faster you pay the faster you get on. Don't be surprised if someone on the waitlist gets on before you do.

Head west on Hwy 1. Turn South at Hwy 40 into Kananaskis Country (you'll see the Casino at the junction), just after the Visitor Center is the Lake on the right, go past, look out for the boat ramp on your right.

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $69.30 (calculated at total Km * $0.33, effective Tuesday, May 12, 2026). This is based on $0.16/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Alternately your carpool driver may choose to split the maintenance cost plus the actual gas cost among all in the vehicle. Your carpool driver will confirm exactly how much money they require to cover costs. Please split the actual cost among all people in the vehicle.
