Starting out at the Moose Meadows parking lot, we will wind our way up through the forest to the Ink Pots. The Ink Pots are the outlets of seven cold mineral springs, fed by rainwater and snowmelt that has percolated into the surrounding bedrock. Two of the springs run murky due to the sediments disturbed by the rising water - hence the name Ink Pots.

We will return the same way we came.

Due to the distance we will be covering, this is not a beginner event; participants should have snowshoed previously. We will be travelling at a slow to moderate pace.
