Description:
You must be comfortable being on your bike for 4-5 hours.

The terrain is similar to the ride from Bragg Creek to Elbow Falls, except about 15 km longer.

We'll cycle about 1 km to the West edge of town, and then along Hwy 546 which generally follows the Sheep River. After 17 km we enter Kananaskis Country and reach the winter gate at about the 21 km mark. From here it’s car-free riding with great views of the Highwood Range, to the end of the road at about the 39 km mark. Then it’s time to turn around for a generally downhill run back to Turner Valley.

We'll have drinks at an agreed upon place after the ride.

We’ll need a few vehicles equipped with bike racks.
  • You must have a road bike. No mountain bikes!
