Notes:
Bring a bus bag with clothing options and decide at the trailhead on what to take on the ride. Be ready for any type of weather. We have one canal crossing. The water depth won't be known in advance but we've seen it anywhere from ankle deep to chest deep. A lot of the lakeside trail has a steep sideslope. We'll be stopping in Banff for a drink and dinner at your own cost. Don't schedule anything else before late evening. Although this trip is long we can take all day to complete it. But you and your bike must be proven to be completely fit for the trip. By the time this event runs in July everyone should have a some visible COC history of technically difficult, epic rides.
