This scenic trail takes you to breathtaking views of the front ranges, the Elbow River Valley and the city of Calgary. From the beaten path we will head up a scree slope and into the trees where we will walk at the base of the ridge until we ascend to the ridge-top trail.

TIP for NW members: If you live in the NW, probably a good idea to meet directly at the trailhead.

PACE: Please note that this is not a speed demon's hike(getting to the top in record time) nor is it for very slowpokes, we will be hiking at a moderate pace on gentler grades and at a slower pace on steeper terrain. If you're not sure about a hike, feel free to contact the coordinator's and remember to always hike within your ability in order to be able to keep up with the group. If you have not hiked before probably a good idea to start with lower elevation.
