Itinerary:
From the Heart Creek trail head we start off on some twisty single track and then into a double track road up to the top of Jewel Pass. It’s a fairly steep climb with lots of loose rocks. Then enjoy the great twisting and turning single track with some tricky technical sections on the descent of Jewel.

The trail then joins Stony trail and heads back over to Prairie View trail. From here we climb an old road that has some strenuous uphill sections which only make the next down hill even more worth while.

We will climb to the top of the Lookout and decend down to the junction of McConnell Ridge. This is where it gets REALLY technical. The ridge has some extremely steep rock faces and loose rock. I haven't ridden it as yet, but one of our members has. You want to have strong technical skills if you are considering this ride

From the bottom of McConnell, we'll reconnect with Heart creek back to the cars.

Approx trip is 25 - 30 kms.
