Itinerary:

For all kayakers who always wanted to learn how to roll or do a refresher. We have organised an exclusive clinic with Aquabatics for you to learn the basics. This is being done in an indoor pool so it will be nice, warm and controlled.

This clinic is being split into 2 sessions. Nov 21 and Nov 28. Same time same place. Clinic ends at 8pm.

COURSE OUTLINE

First Session:
We will look at safely exiting whitewater kayaks both without and with a spray skirt. After this we will start on the dynamics of either a T-Rescue/Rolling or both.

Second Session:
We will revisit the rolling session from the prior week and then look at bracing and some basic paddle strokes.

These pool based courses are suitable for complete beginners wanting to see ‘how they do that rolling over thing’ to experienced paddlers wanting to refine their technique. They teach the most modern and effective roll to beginners and to more advanced paddlers.

EQUIPMENT
All equipment (river kayak, paddle, PFD, skirt) will be provided.
If you get cold easily, you might want to bring a light fleece top or wetsuit. Highly recommended is a nose plug and goggles if you wear contacts or want to see what you're doing. NOTE: You should be comfortable spending time underwater upside down.

Course Fee is $98 for both days.

Payment is due upon registration. First paid get first dibs so don't be surprised if someone on the waitlist gets on before you

PAYMENT NOTE & INSTRUCTIONS: Payment is due immediately upon registration.
