From Calgary's Best Hikes and Walks (Lori Beattie): We will hike along paths through Lindsay Park to the Reader Rock Garden. Known worldwide in its prime for its unique and diverse plant collection, this rock garden was once a work of art and is still a great place for Calgary gardeners to draw inspiration. We will enjoy views of the Elbow River valley, descend into Stanley Park, and follow the Elbow River to Rideau and Mount Royal.

There are several options available to stop for coffee and snacks after the hike, for anyone interested.

Please be warned that your event coordinator has not done this hike before but wants to check it out. Please allow time/patience for unforseen circumstances.
