Itinerary:
NOTE: If the ice is too slushy or otherwise not suitable for hiking then we will switch to another, easy, hike in the area - possible Heart Creek.

Distance: 6 - 7km
Elevation gain: 235m
Note we will be travelling at a slow pace - in no rush at all - in order to explore and enjoy the ice and rock formations along the way. Hopefully we'll find the pictographs as well :-)

Grotto Canyon is one of the Rockies' least travelled ice hikes. The further you go into the canyon, the higher the cliffs around you. Ice falls rise to 28m and we may see some ice climbers.
