Itinerary:
Distance: 110 km
Elevation gain: Approximately 150m net gain to Lake Louise.

We will ride the Bow Valley Parkway from just north of the junction of Hwy 1 and Hwy 1A to Lake Louise, stopping at Laggan's and then returning back the same way. The average pace will be 20+kph. Due to the distance involved, this ride is for experienced intermediate to advanced riders only. No beginners or slow pokes please.

We may stop in Canmore on the way back for snacks.

Required Items to Bring:
- well maintained road or road-worthy hybrid bike. Sorry, no MTBs or knobby tires for this event.
- spare tube or patch kit, pump, levers and knowledge of tire repair
- clothing appropriate for whatever the weather throws at us
- helmet
- water
- snacks

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $95.70 (calculated at total Km * $0.33, effective Sunday, July 12, 2026). This is based on $0.16/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Alternately your carpool driver may choose to split the maintenance cost plus the actual gas cost among all in the vehicle. Your carpool driver will confirm exactly how much money they require to cover costs. Please split the actual cost among all people in the vehicle.
