| 3rd Annual MA-WE-GA Tipi Camp: Survivor The last time we did this it was a blast! So we're doing it again! This time around, we have the Survivor series. Each Tipi tribe would compete on activities and challenges (yes, best snoozer is also included). Voting rules! Dress western or native. Loosing tribe gets clean up duties...or maybe not.... Generally we get to play, eat, sleep and have a great time. Bring games!! Activities and Challenges include: - Outdoor games and friendly competitions - Short day hike in the neighbouring park - Camp fire activities (bring Marshmellows!!) - BBQ Supper & Breakfast. - After-party at Ken’s place a Friday evening (1 or 2 weeks) after Tipi Camping. Clearwater Tipi Park is a secluded, fenced park site operated by The City of Calgary. This is an overnight event, sleeping in the Tipis. Each Tipi has a wood burning stove and can sleep up to 6 people each on a slightly elevated wooden floor. This is a co-ed event but we will try to accommodate requests where possible (bring ear plugs in case!). Make a note in your registration. Rain or shine we will still go as there is plenty of shelter available there. The site is secluded, fenced space on banks of Elbow River with 4 Tipis. There is a ground water pump (water needs to be filtered or otherwise sterilised else bring your own) Please read the following in detail before you sign up: - FPFI (First Pay First In)As soon as you pay up, I would move you from the waitlist to the main event list. - Co-ed camping only - Communal meals for supper and breakfast. Your help is needed in prepping, serving and cleaning up - Area cleaning by everyone on the morning of departure. Leave no trace is the practice - We need volunteers for food prep, games and activities and general entertainment. Step right up! - Your eager participation in most if not all activities is needed - Bring a fun loving and cheerful attitude. Cost includes permits, food, misc and admin charges.
