Proper hiking footwear required, sorry no Runners/Keen's sports sandal's or Five finger footwear or Jeans. thanks

Great event for early risers and experienced hikers who love gorgeous scenery and especially nice weather...check the forecast - sunny! It'll be a long day but very rewarding, so don't be in a rush to get back to Calgary.

This is classed as an EASY scramble(this is only rated difficult because of the distance and elevation). This is more like a steep hike.

A relatively easy scramble up from Stewart Creek onto the scree slopes between Big Sister and Middle Sister, then a trudge up scree to the summit. This scramble shouldn't pose too much difficulty for those new to scrambling; however, given the distance and elevation of the trip you should still be in very good shape and have completed events of similar intensity in the past.

As a reminder please DO NOT sign up if you are not willing to stay with the group or if you do not wish to respect the pace set for the group. Thank you for your understanding.

Please only register if you are definitively joining us. Cancellations continue to create additional work for the co- ordinators who are volunteering their time.

Please note that your coordinator has not done this one, please allow time/patience. Time may vary.
For more info. pls refer to Alane Kanes- "Scrambles in the Cdn Rockies", OR "where Locals hike"-page 28.
