Itinerary:
Yes it is time once again for our annual Cobble Flats BBQ. Please bring a potluck item as well as your own item for after the ride. We will be meeting up with other groups and BBQing up a storm. This is an all day event. All carpools are expected to stay for the BBQ starting at 2 PM. We'll drive from the car pool to the Powderface trailhead on Highway 66. Ride to the Powderface saddle, down to Powderface Road, and down Prairie Creek back to the trailhead. This ride has a long climb - please strong climbers only.

Required Items to Bring:
Mountain bike, helmet, water, food, tube, tools, pump, appropriate cloting for the weather.
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
First aid kit, radio, derailleur hanger, BBQ stuff.

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $34.50 (calculated at total Km * $0.30, effective Friday, April 19, 2024). This is based on $0.16/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Alternately your carpool driver may choose to split the maintenance cost plus the actual gas cost among all in the vehicle. Your carpool driver will confirm exactly how much money they require to cover costs. Please split the actual cost among all people in the vehicle.
