Just over the Highwood Pass a nice hike through meadows and forests to the three pickle jar lakes nestled in overpowering surroundings. This hike is moderate to strenuous and there's tricky footing near the pass. Grizzlies love this area.

TIP: If you live in the NW you might want to meet us directly at the trailhead.

Please note that this is not a speed demon's hike(getting to the top in record time) nor is it for very slowpokes, we will be hiking at a Moderate Pace on flat areas and at a Slower Pace on steeper terrain going up. If you are not willing to follow this pace, pls do not sign up. If you're not sure about a hike, feel free to contact the coordinator and remember to always hike within your ability in order to be able to keep up with the group. If you have not hiked in the mountains before nor recently hiked with 400M+, this hike is not for you. If you're used to "very slowpoke-paced hikes" then this hike is not for you.
