This event is part 1 of 2. Check my other event at Castle Mountain on December 29th. Here is the deal. I want to take full advantage of my Louise card over this holiday season. First day free skiing at Louise. Second and third day at Castle mountain for only $45 each day. Yes, you get $20 off their regular $65 lift ticket. Note: The Louise card will be for sale until December 24th. If you miss this deadline, you may still purchase the card at some third party channels (AMA, Sport Chek, etc) until December 31st. The cost of the card is $99. We’ll meet at the main lodge (Ten Peaks Lodge) at 9 AM on the main level, by the windows facing the ski hill. We’ll also optionally meet at the same place for lunch at 12:00. When skiing is over, we’ll gather up here again and leave the hill by 4:30 PM. | |||||||

Carpool Cost: | Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $108.00 (calculated at total Km * $0.30, effective Friday, March 29, 2024). This is based on $0.16/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Alternately your carpool driver may choose to split the maintenance cost plus the actual gas cost among all in the vehicle. Winter Safety Considerations Due diligence completed by Noel on Dec 20, 2011. Terrain Classification: This event is exempt from avalanche planning because we will be skiing at a ski resort. No out of bounds skiing allowed. Note that COC event coordinators are volunteers and are not trained guides. All participants are responsible for assessing the current road conditions, current weather conditions, current trail conditions and current avalanche conditions for the trip.
Skiing/Snowboarding activities have inherent risks involved. Rental packages now include helmets. | |||||||
