Come and join us for this WOW hike!!
One of the best
within the Banff vicinity, the Mt Edith-
Cory Pass loop is a 12.8 km trail for strong hikers only. We will
go counter-clockwise and thus at the first trail junction at 1.1km
- this will take us first towards Edith Pass, then we will skirt
around the back through Gargoyle Valley and the dog-tooth
spire of Mt. Louis looming above to the north.
Eventually we'll ascend up to the Cory Pass, which opens up to
expansive views of the Bow Valley and many of the mountain
ranges across the valley.
The trail then drops mercilessly down the south face, - hiking
poles are a godsend on this slope.
Before you sign up
