Degree of Difficulty: Moderately easy, with some hills and stairs

We will start from Baker Park and walk west towards the Stoney Trail bridge. The flat paved pathway will take us to the south side of the Bow River and to a trail linking Bowness Park and Valley Ridge. The trail has a number of stairs which will take us up the ridge and into the neighbourhood of Valley Ridge.

After stopping to regroup and catch our breath, we'll return the way we came.

How to Get There:

Event Directions:

Travel west on Bowness Road which turns into 85th Street and cross the bridge over the Bow River (after the 4-way stop). Immediately after the bridge, take the ramp to your right. Following the signs to Baker Park, go under 85th St. and stay to the left where the road forks. The main parking lot is just before the end of the road.
We will meet on the pathway in front of the main parking lot.
