Itinerary:

Resurrecting some of my old "Bow River Runs" this week. Come join me!

We will begin at what I refer to as "The Mecca of Fitness," otherwise known as the Curling Club stairs. For tonight we will ultimately be heading West to Crowchild Trail.

We will start straight south from the stairs across the footbridge and through Princes Island Park. Once we land on the South side of the river we will run West along the bike paths all the way to Crowchild Trail. We will cross the pedestrian bridge back to the North side of the river and then return East along the north side bike paths.

My pace is usually around the 6 min/km mark but I can certainly adapt to the group majority. If we have enough people we can break into our own pace groups as well.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Meet at the bottom of the stairs leading up to McHugh's Bluff next to the Calgary Curling Club
Memorial Dr & approx 3rd St NW
This is the parking lot EAST of the Curling Club (not the one belonging to the club). Accessed from Memorial Drive, the meeting point is located at the stairs across from Prince's Island Park, north side of Memorial.

NOTE: The Prince's Island Park parking lot (off Memorial Drive) is no longer free after 6pm. It costs up to a max of $2 to park there. Parking on the street is free after 6pm (BUT you need to watch out for streets that require a permit).
