Total Distance: 17km
Elevation Gain: about 600m

This hike is an opportunity to see beautiful meadow flowers. We will first hike to Taylor Lake to have a lunch break by the shore and enjoy the wonderful scenery. From there we will backtrack to O'Brien Lake. We return the same way.

This trip is best suited to strong hikers who have done hikes this year of similar length and elevation gain. We will hike at a steady, moderate pace.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Take highway# 1 westbound to the Taylor Lake trailhead/day use area 8km past Castle Junction. *** Please use caution when turning into the lot as you have to cross the eastbound lanes to enter the parking lot.
