Itinerary:
EVERYBODY WELCOME, beginners too / especially.

Last one for a while as I'm on holidays for 3 weeks starting Sunday :)

This ride is 90%+ pavement, if it seems dry there are some little used off-road pathways but don't count on these, it will depend on who comes and what kind of bikes they have. Usually an interesting route, we've seen Owls, Porcupines, Coyotes, Rabbits, Skunks, small bush bashes (they thought they were getting busted, it was total deer-in-the-headlights) and one naked couple (probably too cold for that so don't get your hopes up).

We're starting to get late enough in the year you *might* need headlights especially if you're riding home after. There is a cutoff 15 minutes early if it is starting to get dark, so we should be OK this week.

Since CP Rail has the Bow Pathway inarguably blocked off at their collapsed bridge, there will be a slight deviation from our usual route but we'll make do and make it down to down to Riverbend Park. Then up through the neighbourhood (optionally through Quarry Park), across Glenmore to the Irrigation Canal. Here either back to the parking lot or optionally past Max Bell, through the Zoo and back to meeting point. Total distance is 24 - 29.5km but easy as there is little elevation change and all pavement.
