Are you a non-runner, but wondering what it might be
like to start? Geared towards beginners, this
10 week programme will help you move from walking to
running
and help learn running efficiency and get you ready to run a
5km
run well. Every week will start with a quick session on a
variety of
topics (nutrition, injury prevention, etc.) by an experienced
MEC runner, followed by a run.
Note that this event is only for
people
who are also signed up for MEC's Run a 5k Programme. Let's all learn to run together, and who knows, maybe we'll be pretty decent on the October 19 race :-). | |||||||
