The zoo has a fun event on New Year's Eve that runs from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. There will be fireworks at 8:00 PM, seasonal entertainment and the 1.5 million Zoolights

This is a special ticketed event. Regular Zoolights tickets will not be accepted. Tickets will not be available at the gate. You must buy yours in advance: Click here to purchase your Zoo Year's Eve tickets. Be careful not to buy Zoolights tickets.

We will meet at 6:30 in the Katimba Cafe, which is on the zoo grounds just after crossing the bridge, by the condiment station. We will wait until 6:40 and then go outside and walk around enjoying the lights, the music, the crackling fires, hot chocolate, games and fireworks. Note: The animals will not be on display.

Parking is free. **You should allow at least 25 minutes to get from your car, pass through the entry gates and walk to the Katimba Cafe.** You can ask at the gate for directions to the Katimba Cafe.

Click here for more info on the Zoo.

Please only sign up after you have bought your ticket. Please provide your ticket order number in the comments when you register or send it to me by email. Until I receive your ticket order number, you will be moved to the waitlist. Thank you.
