Ice skating at the Olympic Oval.

We will meet at the benches where you put your skates on. (pay the entrance fee to the cashier and proceed to the rink). The meeting time is 7 pm. The coordinator will hold a piece of paper.

The COC event will officially end at 8:30 p.m. but one can skate till 10:00 pm. when the public skating is over. We'll go for a beverage/snack afterwards if there is interest.

NOTE: New policy at the oval that helmets are now mandatory. Effective July 2, 2013, it is mandatory that all skaters wear an approved helmet** during Public Skating sessions. This policy is implemented as a proactive safety measure to help protect skaters and to ensure all users of the Olympic Oval enjoy their time skating. Bring or borrow! Skaters who do not have their own helmet can borrow one from the Olympic Oval Skate Shop at no charge on a first come first served basis. Protect your brain, skate smart. **must meet safety standards of specific helmet style

Olympic Oval:
Take 32nd Ave west of Crowchild Trail to Collegiate Blvd. Continue on Collegiate Blvd toward the Oval. Park near the entrance to the Oval.
Transit: Take the NW LRT line to the University station. Use the Campus Map below to find the Oval.
