One of the objectives of the Calgary Outdoor Training Team (Sylvia Angelini & Veronique Le Saux) is to provide educational sessions where members can learn about different aspects of the outdoors.

The objectives of the Calgary Outdoor Training Program are to: a) provide educational sessions to members b) raise awareness about different aspects of the outdoors c) increase the members' safety while enjoying their activities in the mountains d) provide everyone the opportunity to ask pertinent questions.

This workshop is for active outdoor people who are new hand held GPS users, or are considering getting one in near future.

Serious registrations only please.

Instructor info:
I've been using GPS systems for more than 15 years starting with one showing me how to find my way out of a myriad of lease roads up near Swan Hills. Seriously, I'd probably still be there. Many of the COC events I've attended or led have had a track, elevation, & statistics attached & often posted to Fotki.
