The COC Training Team (Veronique & Sylvia) are responsible for providing educational sessions where members can learn about different aspects of the outdoors, specifically:

a) providing educational sessions to members
b) raising awareness about different aspects of the outdoors
c) increasing the members' safety while enjoying their activities in the mountains
d) providing everyone the opportunity to ask pertinent questions

I've recruited the help of Dr. Sheena Walli from Pro Active Health Group, who holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree and who has a passion for physical fitness and in addition Amy who will also help Dr. Walli with this presentation.

Unfortunately, injuries during participation in sports/outdoor activities are all too common. How can you prevent this?

Have you ever wondered if you really need to stretch out your muscles before an activity, whether it be hiking, running, etc.. or are you better off just leaving things alone?

To find our more about this please join us for an informative 2 component presentation: "Injury Prevention" and "Is Stretching Beneficial or Not?"

At the end of the presentation we'll allow time for questions.

Please only register for the session if you are 100% committed to attend it. This is a "special presentation just for COC".

***Unreasonable last minute cancellations(2 hours or less prior to event) and no shows preventing others from attending the event will be recorded.***

Thank you for your consideration for other COC members.
