We will be SHARING tents - 2 persons per tent, one tent per campsite. NO EXCEPTIONS.

We will backpack in to the Hidden Lake Campground. Hidden Lake sets in an absolutely spectacular bowl beneath the rocky ramparts of Mount Richardson. Using this as a base camp, we will do two moderate scrambles in the area and backpack out on the last day of the trip.

Itinerary:

DAY 1: Friday, August 1st
Drive to the Fish Creek Trailhead just below the Lake Louise ski resort and hike to Hidden Lake.
Camp at Hidden Lake Campground. No fires permitted

Distance: 8.4km

DAY 2: Saturday, August 2nd
Mount Richardson
Elevation: 3,086m
Elevation gain:800m

Mt. Richardson is the highest peak in the Skoki area, and is an enjoyable scramble. It's right out of the tent door when we camp at Hidden Lake.
