The start of the trail is a rolling double track but soon you get to test your climbing skills on a big-ass climb to Powderface Pass. Awesome views from the pass and a chance to collect your lungs.
Enjoy the descent with lots of swooping switch backs and a few technical sections. Here you hit the Powderface Road and head north for 2.7 kms to the start of Prairie Creek.
This starts off as a wide single track, climbs up some bluffs with another great view and back down some sweeping switchbacks to the parking lot.

Strong intermediate skills necessary. Must be comfortable with fairly steep descents. (riding not walking)
