Itinerary:

Come, sweat and have fun with our fitness group

This workout is intended as base/strength training, and will include a one or a mix of training including:

  • fitness boot camp circuits
  • pilates style mat class
  • sprints
  • hill training
  • plyometric exercises
  • core workouts
  • ...
(a different combination of exercises each week).

This group is targeted for everybody - athletes, runners, people wanting to do cross training and people generally wanting to get in better shape.

Everything is self paced but as a group we will cheer each other on and push each other to our limits, so come out and challenge yourself


Required Items to Bring:

- Running shoes or cross trainers
- Clothing appropriate for the weather.
- A big smile!

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Memorial Dr & ~3th St NW
We meet at the Bottom of the wooden stairs that go all the way to the top of the hill (so between the Curling Club Parking lot and the City Parking lot to the east). The wooden stairs are located to the North of Prince's Island Park.

Parking:
- The parking lot EAST of the Curling Club (not the one belonging to the club) has access via Memorial (~$1.50 after 6pm).
- There is also parking at the top of the hill on Crescent Dr. Parking (free on the streets after 6pm)
- On the streets to the west of the Curling club (free after 6pm but usually totally full)
Bus: The CTrain station nearest 3rd street on 7th Ave is the closest station. Otherwise there are multiple buses that arrive in the downtown core.

Notes:
**Dogs are permitted, but must be kept on leash, and must be accustomed to moving in crowds.
