Distance:~20 kms Moving Pace: 6-7 kms/hr Elevation Gain: ~400 meters This looks like the snow is good and the area has been groomed and trackset yesterday and today (Thursday). From the Elk Pass parking lot, we will follow the Elk Pass trail. We will make a side trip up and down Blueberry Hill (you can skip this if you want to wait at the picnic table), then to the top of Elk Pass. From there we will go back to the parking lot via Hydroline. We'll take short breaks in order to regroup and eat a quick lunch/snack at the top of Blueberry Hill, weather permitting. | |||||||

Event Directions: | From Highway 1 take the Kananaskis exit on to Highway 40. Drive all the way to the Kananaskis Lakes Road which is a right turn from the highway. Drive to the Elk Pass parking lot (~ 12 kms) which is past the Pocaterra Hut and Visitor Centre. | ||||||
