Peter Lougheed Provincial Park (PLPP). This trip is for intermediate-advanced skiers who are comfortable doing 40km in about 5 hours including hills and stops, at an average moving pace of about 9 km/hr. The exact route will be dependent on conditions and recent track setting. | |||||||

How to Get There: | |||||||
Event Directions: | Take Highway 1 west from Calgary, then Highway 40 south all the way to the winter gate. Turn right at the winter gate onto Kananaskis Lakes Trail. Not far up the road, on the left, you will see the Pocaterra area. Meet inside the hut. | ||||||
