Itinerary:
I have not seen too many Downhill Mountain Biking trips in COC. This event is open to ALL LEVELS. We will separate into 2- 3 different groups depending on your skills level.

Moose Mountain has a multitude of downhill trails. We will decide which ones to ride on Sunday morning. We will shuttle up and we will aim for at least 2 runs.

Although we are going to take beginners on this trip, you must be sure you are not just learning how to ride a bike. You must be very comfortable on your bike. It would help if you have done some X-Country mountain biking before.

You need to have a good mountain bike - preferably with full suspension. A hard tail (front suspension only) may work for beginners. Please do not bring a cheap city bike - e.g. from Canadian Tire or Costco.

Helmets are mandatory. No helmet, no riding. Wearing other protective gears is highly recommended but not mandatory. E.g. shin pad/knee pads, elbow pads, gloves, full face helmet, crash pants.

We are going to shuttle to the top of the mountain and then ride down. If you can drive, please indicate how many people and bikes you can take.

Required Items to Bring:
- A mountain bike with front suspension.
- Food
- Bear spray if you feel like it.
- Water
- Energy bars or a like kind of supplement.
- Tire repair kit, at least 1 spare tube. A chain repair kit suitable for the chain on your bike.
- The proper clothing for the day, either wet or dry along with your helmet.
- No helmet no trip. An equipment check will be done prior to leaving to ensure everyone has the proper equipment.
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
- Camera, First aid kit.
