Itinerary: | |||||||
Total Distance: 10 kms Elevation Gain/loss: 104 m Pace: Relaxed Shark Lake is a silky sheet of green water that lies in the valley between Tent Ridge and Mt. Shark. The trail is well marked, starting just up the road from Engadine Lodge. The trail starts off initially by following an old logging road (Marushka Lake logging road). It soon leaves the road and dips down to follow Marushka Creek up towards the shores of Shark Lake. We'll have lunch at the lake and then return the way we came. Ref: Gillean Daffern's Kananaskis Country Trail Guide, Vol 1, Third Edition, Hike 72, p. 168. Please Note: if you are looking for a fast paced event or are in a rush to get back to Calgary, this is not the event for you. | |||||||
