Come for an evening workout of hiking up Prairie Mountain; the ultimate training grounds for our upcoming summer hiking!

The event will go ahead if there are showers but may be cancelled if there are likely to be thunderstorms or heavy rain. An email will be sent by 4:00pm on Wednesday if we have to cancel the event.

You will be hiking at your own pace but will need to turn around and head back down regardless of your position after 80 minutes to ensure we have enough light to see going down.

Note this hike is NOT suitable for beginners as we will hike at a brisk or fast pace. The group may split depending on your individual pace. The event is geared towards personal best times so be prepared to hike up and down on your own in the event you do not find a compatible hiking partner. People will begin their ascent at 6:45 pm sharp so please plan to be there at least 10 minutes beforehand. We will all meet at the trailhead/parking area as a group at the end of the hike before leaving.

We will head over to the Bragg Creek PowderHorn Saloon for a quick apres-hike drink and/or pub fair.
