BRING YOUR OWN BOAT

WEATHER & WATER CONDITIONS PERMITTING.

I'm planning to spend a nice day on the water exploring Lower Kananaskis Lake. Spectacular mountain views.Great way to spend a day out in the countryside. We'd spend ~3+ hrs on the lake and after that, have lunch (BYO) by the lake shore if the weather permits.

NO JEANS TO BE WORN.

Required Items to Bring:
- Spare change of clothes
- kayak, paddle, PFD
- whistle, throw bag with tow rope, bailer

Recommended Items to Bring:

How to Get There:

Event Directions:

Take Hwy 1 west out of town to Hwy 40. Go south on Hwy 40 for approx 56km. Turn right just before the winter gate towards Kananaskis Lakes. Turn right into the Canyon Campground. At the end of the road, turn left to go to the boat ramp.
