This 6 km hike will take you through untouched prairie grasslands, where one is able to glimpse deer, porcupine, and even hear coyotes howl in the distance. The rolling hills make for a good introduction to hiking and also a tranquil place to get away for a few hours from the city.
We will gather in the Nose Hill Park parking lot at 14th Street & 64th Ave NW. From there we will follow a variety of trails including gravel, grass, pavement and dirt. The route will be mostly flat with a few hills to climb.
