Itinerary:

We'll start on Prairie View Trail and climb to the Barrier Lake Lookout. We'll regroup and descend down to Jewel Pass junction then back to the parking lot. Pretty big climb to start. Small hike a bike but then a great panoramic view. The downhill part of this ride is quite rooty and some spots on the jewel pass part are technical with rocks and roots.

- Mountain bike
- Helmet
- Spare tube
- Bike specific multi-tool
- Snacks
- Water (at least 2 litres)

Recommended Items to Bring:

- Camera
- Bear spray
- Knee Pads/Elbow Pads for Razors Edge descent
- Change of clothes

From Highway 1 turn on to Kananaskis Highway 40, then turn right at the Barrier Dam, which is just past the visitor centre.
