Itinerary:
IMPORTANT - Read:
   · This will be a mainly off- trail hike
Hiking sandals are preferred to hiking boots
.
     If you enjoy getting off the beaten path then this hike is for you.
since the flood most of the previous in- distinct trail has gone, and we will need to cross the creek on numerous occasions (someone counted 75 times in the first 5km when we attempted this in June. Essentially we will be walking up the creek
Your coordinator has hiked the first 5km upto the waterfall. We will carry on for about another 2km up the canyon.    · Cancellations past event cut-off time will be recorded as no shows.
   · Bear spray is mandatory or you will not be allowed to attend.
   · Do not be in a rush to get back to the city. We are out to explore and event duration may vary.
We will probably stop off in Kananaski Village are the way back, but the drivers will have final say on this.

you may hike in boots, but you will definitely get wet feet
   · Bear spray
   · Headlamp (check the batteries!)
   · Clothes for varying weather conditions
   · First aid kit
   · Change of shoes for the car

This is based on $0.16/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Alternately your carpool driver may choose to split the maintenance cost plus the actual gas cost among all in the vehicle. Your carpool driver will confirm exactly how much money they require to cover costs. Please split the actual cost among all people in the vehicle.
