Itinerary: | |||||||
I haven't explored this area yet so come on out for an evening hike/walk to check out the less travelled coulees of Calgary south along the Bow River. Estimated distance 7km-ish. We'll hang out for about 2 hours. Friday is supposed to be really nice.Located in South Fish Creek Park next to Cranston, we will walk along, up and down the hills. Expect a bit of huffing and puffing. When we're done, we can adjourn for some refreshments. | |||||||
| |||||||
How to Get There: | |||||||
Event Directions: | Travelling south on Deerfoot Trail, turn west on Stoney Trail South. In about 1km turn north into Mckenzie Lake Blvd SE then almost immediately turn left into Mckenzie Meadows Drive SE. There will be a sign that says Mckenzie Meadows Golf Course. Head down this road and go past the golf course. You will see a sign and gate just past the golf course that says Rotary Nature Park. Keep following the road and you will cross under the Stoney Trail bridge and finally to the end of the road, there will be an area for parking there.
