The COC Training Program

The objectives of the Calgary Outdoor Club Training Program in 2015 are to:
   a) provide educational sessions to members;
   b) raise awareness about different aspects of the outdoors
   c) increase the members' safety while enjoying their activities in the mountains    and
   d) provide everyone the opportunity to ask pertinent questions.

COC is extremely fortunate to have a COC member who has graciously offered to share his knowledge and provide this hands on session. Lahav Wolach is a member of the Rocky Mountain Racers. Lahav has extensive knowledge as a wax technician and has a resume which includes a number of National and International events throughout North America and lastly a coaching staff for the 2015 Canada Winter Games.

This will be hands on session. This "learn event" will Mainly emphasize the proper technique to apply kick wax simply and effectively. Bring your cross country skis.

Learn the differences in "kick waxes". The appropriate use will have your skis performing way better in varied condition.

Gain confidence and come and learn - tips/tricks.
