Itinerary:
This course is offered by a Canadian Mountain Guide ACMG/IFMGA. His daily rate is $550 plus GST for 4 people per day. We currently have 3 people and looking for 4th person to lower our cost. :) the advantage of private class offers way more learning opportunities than bigger commerical guiding company.

Intro to Technical Systems: Crevasse Rescue, Rock Rescue, anchor building, rappelling, lead climbing on rock. Since May is usually a bit too snowy to be reliable in the alpine, let's use these two days to nail down our technical systems. Yam Bluffs is perfect for rescue training, Lake Louise is an ideal venue for starting lead climbing on rock.

Saturday- Yam Bluffs (about 45 mins west of Calgary)

Sunday - Lake Louise (about 1.75 hrs west of Calgary)

This course is very useful for people who are interested in mountaineering in the near future.
